Wade S. Panse, Pastor

Pastor Wade Panse is a retired Elder in the Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church presently serving as part-time Pastor of the Cassopolis United Methodist Church since August 2015.  A graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary (Wilmore, KY), Rev. Panse was Ordained Elder in 1978 and served six appointments during his active pastoral career (Burr Oak UMC, Robbins UMC (Eaton Rapids), Mt. Hope UMC (Lansing), Mt. Pleasant First UMC, St. Joseph First UMC and Director of Alumni, Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, KY.  Throughout his career, Rev. Panse has had the professional objective of Wesleyan Evangelical Christian ministry through the United Methodist Church to advance the Church of Jesus Christ in the world and to transform person’s lives to the glory of God.

Pastor Wade and his wife Patti have been very active in ministry and mission for more than forty years. Together they have led travel groups, mission teams and youth camps all around the country and around the world for purposes of education, inspiration, ministry, and service.

 Patti and Wade live in St. Joseph, MI and are parents of three children, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. They have a Golden Retriever named Lacey.

 Rev. and Mrs. Panse are thankful and blessed to continue ministry together at the Cassopolis UMC.
